Why Talent Quest National Karaoke Singing Contests?
 


 
As owner of Tweet Tunes Karaoke, I was looking for ways to make Karaoke even more fun.  I wanted to be able to offer Idaho singers something they haven't had before and Talent Quest is just that.  Talent Quest National Karaoke Contest is celebrating their 10th Anniversary this year and offers something most contests don't, 6 categories including an over 50 category!  They also offer clubs, singers and fans lots of prizes, national recognition, recording sessions, $3,000 First Place Prizes in EACH category and lots more!  Several of last years' winners appeared on the Oprah Winfrey show!  Overall, the contest has a great history, a great reputation, substance, and is the largest in the nation, what more could an aspiring singer ask for?  How about a week in Laughlin Nevada at a fun resort filled with other singers?  Those are just some of the things that could be in your future.  Get your songs ready, get your cheering fans together and sign up for you chance to win!

Tweet Tunes Karaoke began in Florida over 10 years ago.  It started out as a hobby, and I gradually accumulated more songs, more equipment and expanded to a full show set-up.  I love to sing and this gave me the opportunity to share this love with my friends, then I began hosting shows in clubs, special parties and charity events and it grew from there.  After moving to Idaho 4 years ago, I took a little break from the clubs and now it's back to more and more fun!  During 2008 and 2009 I was hosting shows at the local Casino and I am now hosting shows at the local Elks Lodge and several other locations in the area.  It was exciting to find Talent Quest and work with the founder and the Utah Regional Director to get Idaho going.  In past years, Idaho residents had to travel to Utah to compete which could be very difficult in the winter months.  The only local site in Idaho was in Salmon!  So Talent Quest Idaho was born!  We are in the process of signing up local clubs to host local qualifying.  We already have a site commited to host the Regional Event here in Pocatello, at the Green T.  They feature a huge facility, great sound system, and lots of room for you to bring your fans!  We will have prizes at every level for you and your guests from Karaoke CDGs, trips and other prizes from local restaurants and area businesses.  Regional Winners will get an exciting trip to Nevada to the 10th Annual finals in September!  So get those vocal cords limbered up, pick out your favorite songs and come join us at one of the local sites to qualify and earn your spot on the way to the finals in Nevada!
